Brown's Mike Martin to Headline United Way Event This Thursday

United Way of Rhode Island’s Young Leaders Circle will welcome Mike Martin, head coach of Brown University's men's basketball, for the final installment of the Learn with Leaders series on Thursday, April 10 at The Café at Easy Entertaining in Providence from 8-9:30am.

The event, which is entitled, “Leveraging Your Voice,” will feature a conversation on translating coaching skills to workplace scenarios, including ways to make your voice heard and move your team to success.

A light breakfast will be provided. Free parking lots are available next to Easy Entertaining, 166 Valley Street, Providence, and across the street at Aramark.

Brown University named Martin, a former Brown basketball standout, the 31st head men’s basketball coach in the program’s 106-year history on June 1, 2012. Martin (born July 4, 1982) launched his career in 2012-2013 as the fourth youngest head men’s basketball coach in Division I.
