Bryant Falls 72-66 To Akron, Drop to 1-3

The Bryant Bulldogs men's basketball team 1-3) lost 72-66 on the road at (4-2) Akron on Sunday evening. Bryant has now lost two games in a row and fall to 1-3 on the season and 0-3 on the road.

The Bulldogs took a 44-40 lead with just over 15 minutes to play in the game but could not hold on as the Zips used a 14-0 run to put the Bulldogs in a huge hole. Bryant got as close as three points, 69-66, with 22 seconds left in the game but could not steal the victory.

Dyami Starks led the Bulldogs, recording a season high 25 points on seven of 16 shooting from the field. Curtis Oakley made his first start of the year and followed up Starks with 13 points of his own in the loss. 

Noah Robotham led the Zips with 14 points, five rebounds and four assists in the game.
