B's and Habs Fight to the Finish!
And you can’t wait for baseball to begin? Fugetaboutit! Anyone that watched the Bruins-Canadiens game last night from the Garden was reminded about what a hated and heated rivalry Boston and Montreal really is.

This game had everything. Above all else, it had plenty of goals and plenty of fights. Even the goaltenders dropped the mittens!
In the end it was an 8-6 Bruins win which snapped an 8-game losing streak to Montreal. It also put Boston 4 points up on the Habs in the Northeast Division with a game in hand on the Canadiens.

There was 162 minutes worth of penalties in this one, 97 of them belonging to Boston. There were 11 five minute majors for fighting and 5 ten minute misconducts. And while the fight between Tim Thomas and Carey Price didn’t amount to much, just the fact that the two goalies squared off for a fight was one of the highlights of the night.
