Celtics Beat Atlanta 104-95 to Tie Series

The Boston Celtics have tied their first round playoff series with the Atlanta Hawks up at 2 games each after Boston won 104-95 in overtime on Sunday night at the TD Garden. 

Up by one, 96-95 in the overtime period, the Celtics would close the game on an 8-0 run  to take a 104-95 lead. The run was sparked by an Evan turner jump shot and an Isaiah Thomas three-pointer with 30 seconds to go. 

The Hawks did not score a point in the final 2:40.

Getting it to OT

The Celtics trailed 92-90 with 20 seconds to play in the game when Isaiah Thomas drove to the basket and got a layup to tie the score. 

On Atlanta's following possession, Jeff Teague would just barely get a three-point shot off but it would fall short sending the game to overtime. 

The Celtics trailed by two, 48-46, at the half and would trail 62-46 with 7:30 to play in the third quarter before storming back.
