These odds come out as rumors about Brady’s future continue to swirl, despite his efforts to make them go away.

“I think it's just hype, media, and everyone's trying to make money and that's what it's about. I don't get into it. I mean, honestly, my situation hasn't changed. I'm just focused on what I'm always focused on, which is this week, trying to be a great quarterback for this team. As I said the other day, things happened at the right times, but this isn't the right time,” said Brady during his press conference last Friday.

Contract Fuels Speculation

Rumors and speculation about Brady’s future really started back in August when details of Brady’s latest contract were released.

Brady is receiving an $8 million raise for the 2019 season, and makes a total of $23 million.

However, the contract does not allow the Patriots to franchise or transition tag Brady for the 2020 season.

Additionally, the final two years of the deal automatically void on the last day of the 2019 league year, making him a free agent.

"It is what it is. That's a good line, so whoever said it, it's very pertinent. Like I said, there's a lot of guys who have one year left on their contracts, so the situation — I've got one year to go, and we'll see what happens,” said Brady about his contract at the time.

The following day, Brady’s Brookline mansion was on the market for 39.5 million, as GoLocalProv reported.

The listing came less than a week after the New York Post reported that Brady and his wife Gisele Bundchen have been shopping for homes in Connecticut and New Jersey.
