Cranston's Zobian Makes Final Table at World Series of Poker

Aram Zobian of Cranston makes it to the final table of the World Series of Poker
Cranston native Aram Zobian has made it to the final table at the 2018 World Series of Poker.

He enters the final table with 18,875,000 chips.

The final table begins on Thursday, July 12 at 5:30 p.m. (9:30 p.m. eastern time).

Zobian Makes Final Table

Zobian entered day seven of the main event as the chip leader with just 26 players left.

Starting with more than 41 million in chips, he takes a little less than 19 million into the final table.

Zobian’s Poker Career

Prior to this World Series of Poker, Zobian had $112,011 in live tournament earnings, with 25 cashes on his record.

His largest winnings came at the Megastack Challenge event where he finished second and took home $47,000 earlier this year.

The Final Table

The final table consists of nine players battling it out for a gold bracelet and a first place prize of $8,800,000.

Each player left has already won a least a million dollars.

The 2018 World Series of Poker saw a total 7,874 entries, the second largest field in tournament history.
