Division II Girls' Lacrosse Playoffs

Cumberland High School (14-1) earned the top seed in Division II, and will begin its quest for a state championship at 6 p.m. tonight in Cumberland.  The Clippers will take on 8th-seed Middletown (8-6).

4th-seeded Lincoln High School (11-3) will host 5th-seed Cranston East (11-3) at 4 p.m. this afternoon in Lincoln.

2nd-seed Narragansett (12-2) will match up with 7th-seed Mount St. Charles at 4 p.m. this afternoon in Narragansett. The winner of that game will face 3rd-seed Tiverton, which defeated 6-seed Portsmouth 13-12, last night.

The semifinal round is scheduled for May 30 with the higher seeds playing host. The championship game is set for 4 p.m. on June 2 at Rhode Island College.
