Mazzulla had been named Interim Head Coach in September 2022 after previous head coach Ime Udoka was suspended for the season for violating team policies.

About Mazzulla

Following his days at Hendricken, he played at West Virginia, where he was captain of the team that went to the Final Four in 2010.

He then went on to be an assistant coach at Glenville State and then Fairmont State, before becoming an assistant coach for the Maine Celtics for a stint before returning to Fairmont as head coach.

Mazzulla first served as an assistant coach under Brad Stevens with the Celtics.

His father played at Bryant University and in South America following college.
