He could take the court as soon as next season if the NCAA waives the one-year waiting period that transfers must sit for when changing schools.
About Goodine
At Syracuse, Goodine averaged eight minutes and 1.7 points per game during his freshman season.
Goodine missed three games in January after breaking his nose and played just limited minutes when he returned to the lineup.
He is one of three Syracuse guards to announce that they are transferring.
Prior to Syracuse, Goodine went to high school at St. Andrew’s where he won the NEPSAC Class AA Player of the Year as a senior in 2019.
That season, he led the Saints to the AA title, averaging 25 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists in the finals.
Goodine was teammates with current PC star David Duke in middle school AAU, before Duke moved on to Mass Rivals.

Providence will also have St. Joe’s transfer Jared Bynum eligible after he sat out last season and freshman Alyn Breed in the backcourt.
Nate Watson and Greg Gantt will be the foundation of the frontcourt.
