Friars Bullock Out For Season

Providence College announced on Wednesday that red shirt freshman forward Rodney Bullock is out for the season with a Torn ACL. This will be the second consecutive season that Bullock will miss, having been forced to sit out all of last year due to suspension.

The Providence Friars come into this season as the defending Big East Champions and will need major contributions from any one of thier freshman recruits throughout the season, especially now with the absence of Bullock, on what is going to be a very young team. The Friars are carrying only two seniors, one Junior and a grad student in Ted Bancroft along with guard Kris Dunn who is a red shirt sophmore but has not played a lot in his first two years due to injuries.

Over the last couple of years PC has had issues with depth on thier bench and now with Bullock already ruled out for the year, Ed Cooley and the Friars are hoping this is not a sign of things to come.
