Michigan turned up the pressure late in the game getting numerous chances off of corner kicks and a couple of fast breaks, but goaltender, Keasel Broome, and the Friars were able to hang on for the win.

Broome made six saves in the game to get the Friars to the NCAA Final Four.

The 11 seeded Friars now head down to North Carolina, where they will await the winner of Georgetown and Virginia.

The Final Four match will take place on December 12 and will be televised on ESPNU, no time has been determined yet.

The National Championship game is set for December 14.
