In a boys basketball showdown between two D-! powers, LaSalle Academy outlasted Central High, 84-78. 

LaSalle sprinted out to a 17-point halftime lead, dominating the first-half, but Central rallied in the second behind 31 points from Robert Lewis and 19 points from Bryan Gautier (9 combined 3-pointers).

Ultimately, LaSalle’s trio of Tommy Hunt (26 points), Travis Bean (18 points), and Jared Thompson (15 points) was too much for the Knights. 

LaSalle improved to 7-5 (8-7 overall), while Central dropped its third straight, 8-4 (9-5 overall).
