The transition was definitely not as bad as people think. The hardest thing was getting over the fact that everyone was just as recruited as you and is just as big and fast as you. However, it took me the longest time to adjust to understanding that you are special for who you are and that other player aren't as good as you think they are.

What do you miss most about playing in high school?

What I miss most is the camaraderie that I had with my high school teammates. It made us all so close, which is harder to accomplish with a roster of many more players.

What is your biggest challenge as a college athlete?

The biggest challenge as a college athlete is that you may be good but you can be easily replaced on the account of just one bad game. Every year there is someone new who the coaches are trying to recruit to takeover your spot.

What has been the most rewarding aspect of your athletic career?

I think the most rewarding thing for me is the bonds and networking that I have been able to forge with people all around Rhode Island. Becoming friends with so many people in this state is definitely a plus for me that has been very rewarding.
