GAME ON: Girls Basketball Burrillville vs. Mount Pleasant

Mount Pleasant overcame a late rally from Burrillville to earn its first victory of the season in Division II girls basketball, 42-39. The Kilties dominated at the foul-line (14-26 FT) and were led by the trio of Towanna Johnson (18 pts), Latiana German (12 pts), and Angelique Domena (12 pts). The Broncos trailed 14-20 at halftime, but nearly staged a comeback behind Madilyn Royer’s 16 points, falling just short. Burrillville is still looking for its first league win (0-6, 1-8 overall) Mount Pleasant now stands at 1-6 (2-7 overall).
