“Never a doubt,” Mahomes posted to “X” following Sunday’s Super Bowl 58 win.
Mahomes finished with 333 passing yards for the game, completing 34 of 46 passes with two touchdowns and one interception. He also led the Chiefs in rushing 66 yards.
The Chiefs had fallen behind early to the 49ers 10-0 — and frustrations were high.
After the team fumbled on a play during the first half, tight end Travis Kelce slammed into Chefs coach Andy Reid on the sidelines.
He keeps me young,' Reid joked with CBS after the game. “He tested that hip out. He caught me off-balance - normally I get him a little bit but I didn't have any feet under me.'
“I was just telling him how much I love him,” quipped Kelce following the game.
