Matt Light Announces Charity Event Related to Deflategate

Matt LIght
Matt Light, a former offensive lineman for the New England Patriots, announced a fundraising campaign that turned “Deflategate” into a charity endeavor.

Through his nonprofit organization, The Light Foundation, Light is teaming up with Celebrities for Charity and will raffle off a chance to see the Patriots play the Colts in Indianapolis on October 18, 2015. The game will serve as a rematch of the 2015 AFC Championship game, which is the game “Deflategate” spurned out of.

“Patriot Nation needs something positive to root for right now,” says Light. “Although we won a world championship again, and have proven ourselves repeatedly, the media circus surrounding ‘Deflategate’ has cast a bit of a shadow over New England fans. My plan is to turn this nonsense into something positive – for those fans and for my Foundation.”

Tickets to the online raffle can be purchased here for $2.00 and there are no limitations to how many tickets can be purchased per person. Tickets can be bought here until 11 AM EST on October 13, 2015. The drawing will be held and the winner will be notified after the raffle closes and the winner is drawn.
