GAME ON: Mounties Beat LaSalle

Mount Saint Charles Boy and Girls Hockey teams played back to back in front of a huge crowd last night in Woonsocket. The double barrelled win was against LaSalle Academy was staged at a Mount virtual ice homecoming at Adelard Arena.

The Boy's were led to a 7-2 victory. Mount is now 8-0-1 in the League and 10-0-1 overall.  Moses Brown is 9-1-1 in league play - slightly ahead in points.

La Salle drops to 6-2-2 the the Interscholastic League.

Mounties punch through when Brian Campbell scored just before the end of the first. Then, the Mounties took control when  Zach Samborsky and Ryan Berard, both tallied.

LaSalle Kept Fighting

La Salle’s Robert Fox made it 3-1, but then Cambpell scored his second to put the Mount back up. See the Action on GAME ON. Video highlight. 

Mount Girls vs LaSalle

LaSalle Girls were up early and it looked like they might topple the Mount Girls from the undefeated.  Leading 2-1 in the second period, but then home ice seemed to take over and Mount scored 2 goals back to back to take the lead and ultimately a 4-2 win over LaSalle.  Mount's come from behind win put the Mount Girls 8-0 on the season and LaSalle drops to 7-2.
