Former Providence College great Jim Larrañaga is reportedly stepping down as head coach of the University of Miami Men’s Basketball team, where he has been at the helm since 2011.

According to the Miami Herald, Larrañaga's expected departure comes as the Hurricanes fell to 4-8 on the season, after an overtime loss to Mount St. Mary's last week.

Two years ago, Miami had made a Final Four run in the NCAA tournament.
