UPDATED: Pats and Packers Game Suspended After Patriots Player Removed on Stretcher

The pre-season game between the New England Patriots and the Green Bay Packers was suspended with about 10 minutes to play after a Patriots player was removed from the field on a stretcher.

 

The Patriots player injured is Isaiah Bolden.

He was drafted by the New England Patriots in the seventh round (245th overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft.

 

The Pats were leading the game 21-17.

 

There are no reports on his condition. The Patriots have confirmed he was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

 

The Patriots said in a statement at 1 AM, "Patriots cornerback Isaiah Bolden will be held overnight at a local hospital in Green Bay for observation. To set expectations, we plan to provide an update on his condition by 8 a.m. on Sunday."

According to the team, Bolden has feelings in his extremities, and that the concern is a head injury.
