PC Basketball Cruises Past Bowie State 83-55 in Final Exhibition Game

Alpha Diallo
In their final exhibition game before the regular season, the Providence College Friars cruised past Division II Bowie State 83-55 on Saturday afternoon at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center.

“I still think we have a lot of answers, we played a big rotation early in the first half. Second half we shortened up the rotation to try and get a little bit more chemistry. We are blessed with depth, and depth is great in practice, but sometimes it is a challenge in games, so we have to find out what our rotation is, what our starting and our finishing unit is, so we are still tinkering with some things, but I thought we got better in the second half,” said PC head coach Ed Cooley after the game.

The Friars were led by Nate Watson, who poured in 14 points and grabbed five rebounds, while Emmitt Holt and Alpha Diallo each added 12 points
