Patriots' Gronkowski Voted 2014 NFL Comeback Player of the Year

New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has been voted 2014 NFL Comeback Player of the Year by the Pro Football Writers Association of America.

After only playing in one game last season, Gronkowski has come back and played in 15 games this season catching 12 touchdown passes and averaging 13.7 yards per reception. 

Gronkowski has 82 receptions for a total of 1124 yards and is averaging just over five  and 75 receiving yards per game.

The New England Patriots are getting set to play their fourth straight AFC Championship game on Sunday night, January 18 when they host the Indianapolis Colts at Gillette Stadium.
