The Friars open conference play at home on New Year’s Eve when they welcome Creighton to the Dunkin’ Donuts Center.

It will mark the first time that the Friars open conference play at home since 2014.

Following that game, PC stays home to host defending national champion Villanova on January 5.

Providence beat Villanova at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center last season, before losing to the Wildcats in the Big East Championship.

PC’s first conference road game will take place on Saturday, January 12 when they visit Georgetown, before returning home to take on Seton Hall.

Tough Stretch

Providence’s toughest stretch of the conference season is from January 20 to February 13.

During that stretch, PC will play eight games, six of which will be on the road.

Providence will open the stretch with road games against Marquette and Xavier on January 20 and January 23 respectively.

After making a brief stop home for a game against DePaul on January 27, the Friars go back on the road for games against Seton Hall on January 30 and DePaul on February 2.

PC then comes home to host Georgetown on February 6 before wrapping up the stretch with road games against St. John’s at Madison Square Garden and Villanova on February 13.

Closing Stretch

Following that period, PC closes the season with five of their final seven games at home.

Xavier comes to the Dunkin’ Donuts Center on February 16, followed by visits from St. John’s and Marquette on February 20 and February 23.

Providence then goes on the road for two straight games with visits to Butler on February 26 and Creighton on March 6.

The Friars wrap up the regular season on Saturday, March 9 when they host Butler.
