The Providence College Friars got big games from Nate Watson and David Duke, but got the biggest one from A.J. Reeves, who made big plays down the stretch to save the game in regulation, hit big threes in overtime and had a steal and then assist to Duke in the second overtime.

Duke ended up with 24 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists.

Watson put up a double-double with 22 points and 14 rebounds.

And, then there was Reeves with 22 clutch points, including in the final minutes of regulation hitting 8 straight points to spark the Friars.

Pandemic Matchup

DePaul -- young, talented and very well-rested -- came into the game having only played one game and are now 1-1.

The Friars are now 6-3.

The key to the game may have been a dedicated PC defense that turned over DePaul 17 times.

DePaul outshot the Friars from the field, three-point line and the free-throw line.
