Reeves' 3-Pointer with 3.4 Seconds Wins It for Friars

PC escaped with 80-77 win over Seton Hall.

It was PC’s first game since December 9. when the Friars beat TCU. The Friars are now 5-2 on the season.

Seton Hall drops to 5-4 and has lost to both PC and URI in the same season. The Rams beat the Pirates in 76-63 on December 2.

Once again, Nate Watson 23 points and 11 rebounds and David Duke 18 and 10 lead the Friars. Reeves finished with 7 points for the game.

Now, Providence holds a 55-53 mark all-time versus Seton Hall. The Friars have posted a 29-16 mark all- time versus Seton Hall in Providence, a 22-31 record versus the Pirates at Seton Hall and a 4-6 mark on neutral courts.

The Pirates are the Friars' fifth most common opponent with 107 games played against Seton Hall. The Pirates are also one of the Friars' oldest rivals with the first match up on February 26, 1927 when Seton Hall won, 25-24, in South Orange. The last time the two teams played, the Friars defeated the Pirates, 74-71, in Providence on February 15, 2020. The last time the Friars traveled to Seton Hall, the Pirates earned a 73-64 win on January 22, 2020 in Newark, N.J.
