The official start of NFL Free Agency is still two days away, but the New England Patriots have reportedly lost linebackers Kyle Van Noy and Jamie Collins.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Van Noy will be joining the Miami Dolphins on a four-year, $51 million deal.

“Thank you, NE. Forever grateful. Legendary,” tweeted Van Noy late Monday night.

About an hour later, Collins agreed to a three-year deal worth $30 million with the Detroit Lions, according to Rapoport.

NFL free agency begins on Wednesday at 4 p.m., but teams were allowed to legally “tamper” with free agents starting on Monday.

Van Noy with Patriots

The Patriots acquired Van Noy and a seventh-round pick in October of 2016 for a sixth-round draft pick.

Van Noy helped the Patriots to two Super Bowl wins and three Super Bowl appearances.

He played every snap of New England’s last two Super Bowls.

Collins With Patriots

In 2019 with the Patriots, Collins led the team with 80 tackles and seven sacks.

He played in every regular-season game, while starting all but one of them.

Collins entered the NFL in 2013 after being drafted by the Patriots in the second-round.

However, he was traded to the Cleveland Browns midway through the 2016 season, before returning to New England in 2019.
