Revs Blank Fire 2-0 at Gillette Stadium

The New England Revolution (6-4-6) defeated the (4-8-2) Chicago Fire 2-0 on Saturday night at Gillette Stadium. The Revs are now unbeaten in their last 19 MLS home games, however, this is their first win in the last seven games. 

With the win, the Revs trails Eastern Conference leading DC United by four points. 

Diego Fagundez got the Revolution on the board in the second half, scoring off a Chris Tierney corner kick  to put New England up 1-0.

The Revs struck again two minutes later when Charlie Davis  found the back of the net on a header off a Teal Bunbury cross to seal the game. 

The Revolution return to action on Sunday, June 21 when they head to Washington D.C. to take on first place DC United. Game time is set for 5 p.m.
