Revs & New York City FC Play to 1-1 Draw

The New England Revolution (0-1-3) plead to a 1-1 tie with (1-1-2) New York City FC on Saturday afternoon at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. The Revs are still looking for their first win of the season. 

Trailing 1-0, New Engalnd's Chris Tierney got a free kick and it found the back of the net after deflecting off of  New York's Steven Mendoza and into the net. 

The Revs trailed 1-0 just 10 minutes into the game after New York's Thomas McNamara headed the ball into the back of the net off of a volley by David Villa.

In the second half, the Revs were forced to play with 10 players as Gershon Koffie was shown a red card for a tackle on McNamara. 

The Revolution return to action on Friday, April 1 when they host the New York Red Bulls at Gillette stadium. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
