The Thanksgiving games are always a highlight of the high school football season, and 2013 lived up to the hype. Some teams made the playoffs on Thursday, some teams beat their biggest rivals, and some teams simply took the field together for the final time this season, a celebration of their hard work and perseverence on a day to be grateful for a lot of things. Hopefully everyone out there had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Here's 10 players who started off Turkey Day on a high note this year.

Wild Wilson
La Salle Wide Receiver Keon Wilson didn’t just catch a touchdown pass in Thursday’s 30-6 romp of East Providence, he threw a TD pass as well. La Salle finishes the season 4-4, while the Townies fall to 2-6 in Division 1.
Sensational Sedoma
Jessie Sedoma ran for 3 touchdowns Thursday as Warwick Vets feasted on Pilgrim 44-0 in non-league play. Vets finishes up 7-5 overall while the Patriots finish 2-10 for the season.
It Pays to have Paygai
Austin Paygai ran for a pair of TDs and also brought a kick return to the house Thursday as West Warwick prevailed over Coventry 36-23. The Wizards finish the season 8-3, while the Oakers finish 5-6.
Versatile Burchet
Justin Burchet had a pick-six and also ran for 2 touchdowns in leading Ponagansett to a 28-6 win over Burrillville on Thursday. Both teams finish the year 3-6 in Division 3.
Sizzlin' Sewall
Portsmouth Quarterback Matthew Sewall ran for 3 TD scores as the Patriots bested Middletown 35-6 on Thursday. Portsmouth is the #3 seed in Division 1 and will play at Hendricken on Tuesday in the semifinals.
Jensen Leads Eagles
Nicholas Jensen ran for a pair of touchdowns and brought a punt back for a score as Barrington rolled to a 34-0 victory over Mt. Hope on Thursday. The Eagles are the #1 seed in the division 1 playoffs and will host Cranston East on Tuesday in the semifinals.
SK's Dynamic Duo
Rafael Pires and Nolan Reifstock combined to score all 7 South Kingstown touchdowns as the Rebels knocked off bitter rival North Kingstown 46-14 Thursday at URI’s Meade Stadium. The Division 2 Skippers finish the season 9-3 overall while the Division 1 Rebels finish 5-6.
Quakers, QB Both Legit
Division 3 Moses Brown won a big respect game over St. Raphael on Wednesday Night behind a pair of touchdown passes from star QB Eric Cosmopulos. Cosmopulos also ran for a score in the Quakers’ 35-22 win. Moses Brown takes on Middletown Tuesday in the Division 3 semifinals.
Stanley Stars
Narragansett beat East Greenwich Wednesday night by a score of 22-13, effectively qualifying over Classical and the Avengers themselves for the final playoff spot in Division 3. Deontae Stanley ran for nearly 150 yards on the ground and scored twice to lead the Mariners, who will play Mt. Pleasant on Tuesday for a spot in the Division 3 Super Bowl.
Corvese, East Best West
Cranston East Quarterback Alex Corvese threw a touchdown pass and ran for 2 TDs as the Thunderbolts beat rival Cranston West 42-29 on Thursday. Cranston East clinches a playoff spot with the win and will play Barrington on Tuesday.
