RIC Women Advance in NCAA Tournament with 2nd Half Blowout

The Rhode Island College women’s basketball team struggled in the first half to shake St. John Fisher College.

 

The Anchorwomen went into the locker room at halftime, clinging to a 27-24 lead.

But, the second half was a different story.

 

Behind Angelina Nardolillo’s team leading 19 points, RIC outscored the Cardinals 39 to 19.

 

RIC won the second-round NCAA game 66-43 at the Murray Center on Saturday night.

The Anchorwomen will play Washington & Lee on March 8.
