Slow Start Hurts Bulldogs, Lose 73-47 to Vermont

The Bryant Bulldogs men's basketball team (1-2) went on the road and lost 73-47 to the Vermont Catamounts (3-2) on Wednesday night in Burlington. 

Bryant was led by Dyami Starks who had 13 points in the game but it was the Bulldogs slow start that was their ultimate downfall. Check out the five takeaways slide show below.  

The Catamounts opened up the game on a 13-2 run and led 34-14 at the half and never looked back. Bryant played much better in the second half of the game, but it was too late.

Vermont was led by Dre Willis who had 14 points in the game to lead all scorers. The Catamounts shot 59 percent from the field in front of the home crowd. 

Bryant will now have a few days off before traveling to Ohio to face Akron on Sunday, November 30 at 5 p.m.
