URI Holds on to Beat Duquesne 77-74 at Ryan Center
Jared Terrell leads URI with 20 pointsThe URI Rams (15-12, 7-7 A-10) defeated (15-12, 5-9 A-10) Duquesne 77-74 on Saturday night at the Ryan Center. With the win, URI snaps a two game losing streak.

Duquesne tied the game at 60 after LG Gill hit a three-pointer with 8:27 to play in the game.
From that point, URI went on a 10-2 run to take a 70-62 lead with 2:40 to play after Hassan Martin converted a layup .
The Rams hit 9 of their final 10 free throws in the last three minutes to keep their lead and get the win.
URI led 42-35 at the half.
The Leaders
Jared Terrell led URI with 20 points on 5 of 10 shooting from the field and 7 of 7 from the free throw line.
Hassan Martin followed up with 19 points and Jarvis Garrett added 17 of his own.
Next up
The Rams return to action on Tuesday, February 23 when they visit Davidson. Tip off is set for 6 p.m.

1 Rebound for Martin
Hassan Martin only grabbed 1 rebound in the entire game and it came in the second half of action.
The Rams were out rebounded 32-28 and only grabbed 4 offensive boards in the game.
Martin was again in foul trouble and only played 28 minutes in the game, the lowest of any of the starters but did score 19 points on 5 of 9 shooting from the field.
Kuran Iverson
Kuran Iverson had easily his best game since coming back from a concussion.
Iverson posted a 7 points on 3 of 4 shooting from the field while grabbing 10 rebounds.
Iverson played 33 minutes, the most he has played since returning to the lineup.
Garrett Bounces Back
After turning the ball over 7 times in URI's previous game, Jarvis Garrett bounced back big time in this one.
Garrett poured in 17 points on 5 of 10 shooting from the field, dished out 8 assists, grabbed 4 rebounds and recorded 4 steals.
In the five games since his return, he has reached double figures in all of them.
Clutch Free Throws
The Rams have struggle with free throw shooting at times this season and even going back to last season.
In this game, URI went 21 of 29 from the line and in the final 3:16 of the game, the Rams knocked down 9 of 10 free throws to keep their lead in tact.
Of those clutch free throws, 5 of them came from Jarvis Garrett, 2 from Hassan Martin and 2 from Jared Terrell.
Jared Terrell
Jared Terrell led the Rams with 20 points on 5 of 10 shooting from the field and 7 of 7 from the free throw line.
Terrell is red hot for Rhody, scoring in double figures in eight straight games and reaching the 20 point mark in 6 of those games.
Terrell also dished out 5 assists against Duquesne.
