Where To Watch Saunderstown's Beisel Go for The Gold

Beisel will go for the gold in the 400-meter individual medley on Saturday, and fans can choose from a number of different viewing parties to watch her swim.
North Kingstown High School's swim team is hosting a party in the school's cafeteria. The team will be selling baked goods and beverages, and all of the proceeds will go towards the high school swim program, and the Rhode Island Interscholastic League.
Twin Willows restaurant on Boston Neck Road in Narragansett is also hosting a party. They will be streaming the event live on two big screen televisions, and friends and members of Beisel's family are expected to attend.
A restaurant employee said that Beisel's father, who famously could not attend the Games in 2008, watched her race at Twin Willows.
Another viewing party will be held at Gillian's Ale House in North Kingstown.
Beisel is expected to jump into the pool at around 2:20 p.m. She is the favorite to win gold in the event, having stomped her competition by more than 3 seconds in the U.S. Olympic trials, winning with a time of 4:31.74. She also finished second in the 400-meter individual medley in Beijing in 2008 as a 15-year old.
