Who Will Win the Division I Girls Lax Championship?

La Salle and Barrington will play Saturday for the state crown.
Barrington High School and La Salle Academy will play at 5pm on Saturday at Brown University for the Division I girls lacrosse state championship.

Top-seeded Barrington High School comes in to the title game as the favorite, sporting an undefeated record of 14-0 on the season. Five goals from senior captain Kelly Dolan helped lift the Eagles to a 14-10 victory over Bay View in the semifinals to reach Saturday's championship game. With the five goals, Dolan reached the 60-goal plateau for the season and will be a player that La Salle will be keeping a close eye on when Barrington has the ball.

Third-seeded La Salle upset the defending state champion Moses Brown Quakers in the semifinals 13-9 to clinch a spot in Saturday's title game. Sarah Migliori and Margaret Pressler each had five goals for the Rams in their semifinal victory. Senior captain Rachel Padilla will also be a player to watch, compiling 53 goals for the Rams this season.
