John Ghiorse's Winter Storm Update - Sunday PM

John Ghiorse
John Ghiorse, GoLocalProv's meteorologist, provided the following storm update for Rhode Island late Sunday afternoon. "I see this storm as a typical early-season mess, starting as snow at most spots this afternoon, likely accumulating a couple of inches before it mixes with and then changes to all rain overnight," he said. "Typically there will be more snow and a slower changeover north and west of Providence."

"Most of Monday with feature a chilly, wind-driven rain that will likely go back to snow Monday night and end Tuesday morning. Again a small accumulation is possible," Ghiorse adds.

Monday's morning commute could be very challenging for drivers.
