Saturday Morning Snow Update

The disorganized area of snow that moved through the area last night and left a coating to an inch or two has moved on to our north this morning with only a few scattered snow showers or flurries likely here and there throughout the day.

However, another small disturbance over the Mid-Atlantic States will move by the area tonight and that has the potential to bring more snow from this evening into tonight then moving away early tomorrow. Indications are that this could bring another 3-6” to much of our area but the snow area is not very large, so a small deviation in its track could bring us less if it slips farther out to sea than expected.

If you have travel plans for this evening, stay aware of latest conditions and forecasts as roads could become snow-covered and slippery.
