The LOOK: Can You Be a Model?

Happy styling Saturday! The first order of fashionable business is an update on our statewide model search coming this spring. Local girls who have always been curious about modeling and what it takes, and where one should start, should consider entering our search. We'll be picking 12 lucky girls to be the face of our search here in RI.
You'll have access to pictures to put your own book together for future go-tos and picking the minds of professionals within the beauty industry grooming and teaching you to go ahead into the modeling world. It will be a whirlwind of fun, from photo shoots to fashion shows and editorial works. Stay tuned weekly to find out where our casting call will be and spread the word!
Already signed on to judge and counsel: Monique Peoples Graham, Motown recording artist and stylist; Pablo Duprey Loreal, editorial stylist; Erin and Thomas Riberio, fashion stylists and clothing designers… and moi, of course!
Now, on to you! Here are 3 steps to creating a look to be considered for any work within the beauty modeling industry:
1. Take care of your skin.
It's so important! Hydrate on all fronts: drink plenty of water and moisturize. Plus, vitamin c cream is your best friend for a healthy look.

Try not to be too trendy with color or cuts, seeing that you may be looked over when a particular look is needed.
3. Attitude!
Most importantly I know we have all heard handsome is as handsome does. When you radiate positivity from the inside out, there is no better beauty than that.
