Centreville Bank Donates $25K to The Autism Project

The Centerville Bank Charitable Foundation has given a $25,000 grant to the Autism Project.

“This grant enables us to ensure that no child misses camp due to financial challenges. Centreville Bank’s ongoing support of our programming helps children, teens, young adults, families, educators, students, and volunteers from across our state,” said Joanne Quinn, executive director of The Autism Project.

The Autism Project was founded in 1997, under the moniker The Autism Society of Rhode Island. The organization’s mission is to empower those with Autism, Asperger Syndrome, and related disorders.

“Year-round, The Autism Project provides a wide array of resources and services for children, teens and adults who are on the autism spectrum, and the families who support them. This gift from the Centreville Bank Charitable Foundation provides critical funding for the organization’s programming, including Camp WANNAGOAGAIN, the popular summer camp for youth and teens,” said Jonathan Roderick, vice president, retail administration for Centreville Bank, and president of The Autism Project’s board of directors.
