Ex-Hasbro Executive Named Head of Marketing for RI Commerce

Rhode Island Commerce Corporation announced the hiring of Rebecca "Becky" Nuger as Chief Marketing Officer for the agency.

 

Nuger will lead the state’s marketing and brand strategy, promoting Rhode Island as a great place to visit, live, and do business.

She previously worked as a brand strategist at Hasbro. She left the company in June of 2025 after eight-and-a-half years.

 

"She will oversee the marketing team at the Rhode Island Commerce Corporation and work closely with tourism regions, leadership at Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport, and other partners to elevate the state’s visibility, supporting economic growth," said Commerce in a press release.

Nuger brings 15 years of experience in marketing leadership, brand strategy, and partnership development across global consumer brands, most recently serving as Director, Global Brand Strategy at Hasbro.
