Janet Raymond, Senior Vice President of Economic Development and Operations at the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce is stepping away.

She made the following announcement:

Exciting news: After 31 wonderful years working at the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce I’m writing to announce my retirement.

Today is my last day at the Chamber and is bittersweet as I have had the pleasure of working with the best group of colleagues anywhere and have enjoyed working on many important initiatives to help create a positive business climate in RI.

I am looking forward to my next chapter of golf, travel and volunteering for various causes. To my Chamber family: thank you for your support over these many years.

A graduate of URI and Bryant, Raymond has also served as the Chair of the Providence/Cranston Workforce Investment Board.
