Forbes Columnist Attacks Nesi's Relationship With Raimondo

In a scathing column posted this weekend, Forbes columnist Ted Siedle, who had raised issues about General Treasurer's Gina Raimondo's management of the state's retirement system and links between investment and her former firm, took on the cozy relationship between local media and Raimondo.

Specifically, Siedle criticized local blogger Ted Nesi of WPRI-12. Siedle wrote, "For the record, I was not provided any opportunity to comment on Nesi’s article. I’ve learned to expect as much whenever I criticize highly-politicized public pension investment shenanigans. Local media is usually, shall we say, heavily influenced by local politicians. Seems the distinction between journalism and blogging is not as clear-cut as Raimondo would have the public believe."
