AAA of Souther New England's survey got the data - for the sixth straight week gas prices are up. This increase pushed the six-week trend up 20 cents per gallon.

According to AAA’s December 13 survey of prices in Rhode Island found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $3.10 per gallon, up four cents from last week and 22 cents since the beginning of November.

The current price is 13 cents above the national average for regular unleaded of $2.97. A year ago at this time Rhode Island’s average price was $2.65.
