To our loyal and valued customers. It is with a bittersweet heart we announce that we are closing Solitros Bakery.

After 75 years in business, we have made the decision to retire. The building is being sold and there will be no one else that will carry on our name and business.

We are excited for the next chapter in our lives but we will miss you all. You know what they say “How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.”

We want to take a moment to thank ALL of our customers. You have supported us through the entire evolution of Solitro's. You have been there for us in good times and bad. Through an unprecedented global pandemic, the passing of each Solitro brother and through trying economic times.

You have also been there for every holiday as well as celebrating with us on Cranston Street for each and every St Mary’s Day. It has been an absolute pleasure to serve Knightsville and our community. Thank you for allowing us to play a small role in your celebrations over the years.

Whether it be a birthday cake, Mike’s world famous banana cream pie for Christmas Day or zeppole for St Joseph’s Day…knowing our homemade products were a staple on your dining room tables means the world to us.

Our last day open will be August 18th. Please stop by and visit us one last time. We look forward to seeing you over the next couple of weeks.

Thank you all.

With love, the Solitro Family
