Chace Ruttenberg & Freedman, LLP, announced that Samuel A. Budway and Mary B. Catala have joined the firm as associates.
Budway was the Deputy Director and General Counsel for the Providence Redevelopment Agency and has extensive experience working with developers and property owners in connection with the acquisition, financing, and leasing of residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects. He will represent the firm’s clients in real estate, including affordable housing and other real estate development projects, corporate transactions and employment and workplace law.
Catala was previously a Law Clerk to The Honorable Maureen McKenna Goldberg of the Rhode Island Supreme Court and The Honorable Brian P. Stern of the Rhode Island Superior Court. She will represent the firm’s clients in bankruptcy, receivership and creditors’ rights, and general litigation matters.
Compass announced that the Kirk | Schryver Team, led by principal agents Elizabeth Kirk and Lisa Schryver, has joined the company. Also joining Compass as long-time members of the Kirk | Schryver Team are agents Jan Malcolm and Lindsay Mitchell.
