Bank Rhode Island (BankRI) has named a new branch manager at one of its Warwick locations. The bank has promoted banking veteran Lynne DeSantis, who also calls the city home, to lead its Buttonwoods branch on West Shore Road.

DeSantis joined the BankRI team in March 2021 as the assistant manager of its Warwick Avenue branch. Previously, she spent 21 years in retail banking with Citizens Bank, most recently working in branch management in one of its Warwick locations.

“Being a local bank, we take pride in serving the same communities where we live, and with DeSantis, I can’t envision anyone who better understands the needs of her customers,” said Erica Martineau, SVP, Regional Manager for BankRI. “Lynne’s commitment to service and to building meaningful relationships makes her a great fit for this opportunity – we’re delighted that she is leading our Buttonwoods branch.”

As manager, DeSantis oversees the day-to-day operations of the branch and is responsible for leading and coaching a diverse team of financial professionals. She focuses on business development and ensuring a branch-wide delivery of personalized customer service.
