Residential Properties Continues Expansion -- Opens Westport, MA Office

Residential Properties, the Rhode Island homegrown real estate firm, has grown to be the largest in the region — notching a record $1.3 billion in sales in 2021 — and now, is on the move again.

Last week, the firm formally opened its new office in Westport, MA — the rural seaside community.

While Residential’s Providence headquarters are located on the busy corner of Benefit and Wickenden Streets in the Fox Point neighborhood, the Westport office is located next to a fish store and surrounded by a farm on two other sides.

With over 270 agents and a total of nine office locations, RPL set a new Statewide MLS record with over $1.3 billion in sales last year and says it looks forward to bringing this expertise to the South Coast Massachusetts market -- which might just be the definition of idyllic.

For President and CEO Sally Lapides, the Westport office is just another step in the growth of the firm that celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2021.

At a time when the real estate market is in flux, Residential Properties continues to grow.

The first quarter of 2022 is on a pace to top last year's record pace.
