Just a few months ago, the station featured a lineup that included "The Hot Morning Show" with Mike D and Alexus Lee; Nick; Big Stress; DJ Half Pint; and Fly Rye.
The station is owned by Cumulus, the radio giant whose stock has plummeted this year. Cumulus claimed that Hot 106 delivered for advertisers.
“HOT106 reaches the fastest growing populations (Adults 18-34), Hispanics (45,500 listeners) & Millennials (120,000 listeners). With an average age of 31, Hot listeners are very image-conscious, spending over $165 million in the market monthly,” said the company.
Cumulus owns WPRO, Lite 105, and two AM stations - the Score and WPRO AM.
The stock is now down to $1.09 from a 52-week high of $5.51 — an 80% drop in value.
Previously, Cumulus went into bankruptcy in 2017.
