United Way of RI Offering Free Tax Preparation Service at 24 Locations Across State
“VITA ensures that working Rhode Islanders who earn $55,000 or less annually and meet eligibility have access to free tax services in order to receive the money they’re due in tax refunds and tax credits,” said United Way in their press release.

GET THE LATEST BREAKING NEWS HERE -- SIGN UP FOR GOLOCAL FREE DAILY EBLASTEach of the 24 program sites are staffed by IRS-trained and certified volunteers who offer services in both English and Spanish, with returns filed electronically.
Sites are currently offering services, with many scheduled to continue through early April.
Appointments are required for some sites and information on this – along with general questions – can be answered by calling 2-1-1.
