It’s never too early to start planning for Providence Pizza Week, which will take place April 14 through April 20.

The Providence-Warwick Convention and Visitors Bureau (PWCVB) is inviting all restaurants to participate -- "even if pizza is not typically on their menu."

According to PWCVB:

"For those restaurants that regularly serve pizza, this is the week to try a new combination of toppings.

We hope to offer diners a diverse lineup of pizza options, ranging from high-end hot spots to small neighborhood pizza shops, and everything in between!

We'll also be having our online voting to see which pizzas will be crowned Most Delicious, Most Instagrammable and Most Creative."

They go on to explain how restaurants can take part.

Steps for Businesses

PWCVB writes, "The format is simple:"

1. Create a pizza (or two) that is not currently on your menu. There can be no more than two pizzas promoted. It can be an old favorite brought back, a creative twist on a classic, an appetizer or entrée special, or even a non-traditional pie, like a breakfast or dessert pizza.

2. We will not set a price point for Pizza Week. We ask that you provide a price, along with the description of the pizza(s). Please use the link to register.

3. Restaurants that aren’t members of the PWCVB can participate at a rate of $100.

Interested restaurants should contact PWCVB Sr. Director of Community and Public Affairs Christine Phillips at [email protected] with any questions.
