ConAgra Foods Recalls P.F. Chang's Frozen Chicken & Beef Products

The Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH) is advising consumers that ConAgra Foods is recalling approximately 195,000 pounds of frozen chicken and beef entree products that are under the brand name "P.F. Chang's Home Menu" because they may be contaminated with metal.

The metal fragments range in size from 2 to 9 millimeters in diameter, and are curled, malleable, and shiny. The fragments could be embedded in the sauce contained within the frozen entree products.

The U. S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service initiated the recall of the products that were shipped to retail locations nation wide.
