RI Health Recommends Closure of Gooseberry Beach Due to High Bacteria Levels
As GoLocalProv reported earlier on Wednesday, RI Health recommended the closure of seven other beaches across the state for the same reason.
Those beaches were:

- North Kingstown Town Beach
- Barrington Town Beach
- Saunderstown Yacht Club
- Camp Grosvenor in Saunderstown
- Bonnet Shores in Narragansett
According to RI Health, they will continue to monitor and review beach water quality regularly to ensure safe bathing throughout the summer season.
